The story

Becky, Amber and Natalie are going on holidays. It is the first time they go on holidays without parents. They are going to Rottnest Island. When they arrive, they're going to the little house they had. After they have unpacked, they are bicycling to West End. But when they come there, Becky finds a dead body. Amber and Natalie immediately go to the police while Becky stays with the body.

That night, Becky has awful nightmares, she dreames about the dead body the whole time. Next morning, the girls meet Richard and Dominic, the boys next door. They all hang out a lot together. One day they go to a lighthouse and Becky sees a photo of an old lighthousekeeper with he same middlename as the man on the rocks! He was accused to be a murderer. They say he had killed Lizzie Keegan.

Becky meets 3 old ladies and they hear more about Lizzie Keegan and the murder. The next day, Becky is going to the beach with Richard to find a treasure. It was an old biscuit tin that was buried by Richard and his brother years ago. In the biscuit tin there is a necklace. Richard gives it to Becky.

When Becky goes to the old ladies again, Ruth is confused. That was the necklace of Lizzie Keegan, Ruth's sister. Richard tells Becky he found it in the wardrobe of his grandpa. Becky thinks he was the killer of the man on the rocks and his grandpa the killer of Lizzie Keegan. Then they all go to a tunnel. Richard is trying to kiss Becky, but she thinks he is going to kill her. She runs away and when she is out of the tunnel, she runs into Richards grandfather. She accuses him from both the murders and he owns up everything.

The rest of the holidays, the girls are having fun together, without the boys.
